DESCRIPTION

In the gripping psychological drama *Man Down*, Gabriel Drummer, a United States Marine, returns home from the battlefield only to find his reality rapidly unraveling. Struggling with the profound weight of his service, Gabriel is haunted by a harrowing incident from his deployment—a traumatic encounter that continues to shadow his every move. The narrative unfolds through a fragmented, non-linear lens, blurring the lines between Gabriel’s memories of his military service alongside his "battle buddy," Corporal Devin Roberts, and his attempts to reconnect with his wife, Natalie, and their young son, Jonathan. As he navigates the challenges of reintegrating into civilian life, the dehumanizing experiences of war clash violently with his identity as a devoted father. Under the scrutiny of a military psychiatrist, Captain Peyton, Gabriel’s mental state begins to fracture. Paranoia takes hold, and he becomes increasingly convinced that his family is in grave danger. As he struggles to distinguish his past from his present, Gabriel enters a desperate, erratic cycle of confusion and guilt. He is driven by a singular, obsessive mission to "save" his family, even as his perception of reality slips away. *Man Down* is a haunting exploration of the corrosive nature of trauma and the devastating isolation of a veteran fighting to protect the ones he loves when he can no longer trust his own mind.
