Law and Order
In the rugged frontier town of Cottonwood, the promise of a quiet life as a rancher proves elusive for Frame Johnson. A weary, cynical former marshal with a lethal reputation, Frame arrives seeking peace alongside his brother, Lute, and their friend, Denver. However, they quickly find themselves in the crosshairs of Kurt and Frank Durling, a pair of corrupt brothers who maintain a grip on the town through intimidation and a puppet sheriff. The atmosphere in Cottonwood is thick with tension and the constant threat of violence. When a local boy is lynched by a mob, the Johnsons are forced to confront the town’s lawlessness head-on. As the conflict escalates, the Johnsons must navigate a dangerous path between upholding justice and succumbing to the cycle of vengeance that defines the frontier. Frame’s journey is a profound struggle to transition from a man who enforces peace through the barrel of a gun to one who seeks a life beyond violence. Faced with a town desperate for order and enemies determined to drive him out, Frame must decide if he can truly escape his past or if he is destined to remain a prisoner of his own reputation. Will the rule of law prevail, or will the shadows of the frontier consume them all?
