Vijay is a cynical illustrator of children’s books who holds a deep disdain for the film industry, viewing it as a superficial landscape of manufactured emotions. His quiet, middle-class life with his parents and sister is upended when a production crew approaches his family to rent their home for a twenty-day shoot. His father, Sarvesh—a retired government employee harboring a lifelong, secret ambition to act—agrees to the deal, but only on the condition that he is granted a role in the film. As the production takes over their home, Vijay finds his prejudices challenged when he meets the film’s lead, a prominent actress named Sameera Rathod. Tasked with coaching her in Telugu, Vijay soon develops a genuine emotional connection with her. However, their burgeoning romance is complicated by the shadows of the industry. Sameera is trapped in a volatile situation, psychologically tormented by an ex-boyfriend who uses threats and blackmail to exert control over her career. As the lines between reality and performance blur, Vijay must navigate a world of exploitation and betrayal. When the film’s release threatens to shatter his trust, Vijay is forced to confront the true cost of fame and the lengths one must go to protect those they love.
