Daniele Dominici, a weary 37-year-old art history teacher, arrives in the small Italian town of Rimini seeking a fresh start. Burdened by a stagnant, crumbling relationship with his partner, Monica, Dominici hopes to escape his existential exhaustion through a temporary high school teaching position.
