The Squad: Home Run
Eight years after a botched investigation claimed the life of his wife, former police commander Niels Cartier is a man adrift. Now working as a driving instructor, he remains haunted by the cold case involving the elusive chemist Seyo Vranic, the mastermind behind a volatile, armor-piercing explosive known as "Yin-Yang." While his former colleagues dismiss him as paranoid and unstable, Niels’s obsession with the past has only deepened. He isn't the only one marked by the tragedy. His daughter, Charlotte-Serge, has grown into a hardened, rebellious teenager whose tactical combat skills and knowledge of weaponry mirror her father’s intensity. Their fragile existence is shattered when Vranic and his gang resurface in Paris to intercept a high-profile war criminal. When the criminals kidnap Charlotte to force Niels into a dangerous ultimatum involving her grandfather, the former commander is pushed to the brink. Sidelined by the authorities, Niels must reunite his disgraced former police unit for an unauthorized, high-stakes rescue mission. As they infiltrate a hospital held by the gang, the lines between justice and vengeance blur. *The Squad: Home Run* is a tense exploration of grief, the moral ambiguity of law enforcement, and the fierce, protective bond between a father and daughter struggling to find balance in a life defined by violence.
