DESCRIPTION

In the vibrant 1988 comedy *Big Business*, two worlds collide when fate brings together two sets of identical twins separated by vastly different lives. In the quiet town of Jupiter Hollow, West Virginia, Rose and Sadie Ratliff are humble, community-oriented women dedicated to their work at the local Hollowmade furniture factory. Thousands of miles away in the high-pressure environment of New York City, their namesakes—Rose and Sadie Shelton—reign as wealthy, detached executives at the powerful conglomerate Moramax. The conflict ignites when the Sheltons move to liquidate the Ratliffs' factory to maximize corporate profits, threatening to destroy the economy and way of life in Jupiter Hollow. Determined to save their home, the Ratliff sisters travel to the Big Apple to confront the corporate giants. As the two pairs of sisters repeatedly cross paths in the city, a whirlwind of mistaken identities and chaotic encounters ensues. While the Ratliffs attempt to navigate the cutthroat corporate world to protect their community, the Sheltons find themselves forced to confront the emptiness of their own high-stakes existence. *Big Business* is a spirited exploration of identity, the clash between corporate greed and community preservation, and the search for fulfillment beyond material success. Will the Ratliffs succeed in their mission, or will the Sheltons’ ruthless agenda prevail? Prepare for a hilarious and heartfelt journey where two worlds become inextricably linked.
